Job Description
Launched in 2016, the four-year USAID Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) ensures an uninterrupted supply of health commodities to prevent suffering, save lives, and create a brighter future for families. In Nigeria, GHSC-PSM distributes almost $400m worth of commodities per year on behalf of USAID and Global Fund and provides technical assistance to improve HIV/AIDS, malaria, maternal and child health, and family planning supply chains. The project provides direct procurement and supply chain management support to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), USAID’s family planning and reproductive health program, and USAID’s program for Ending Preventable Child and Maternal Deaths.
GHSC-PSM, implemented by Chemonics International Inc., is improving the availability of health commodities in Nigeria sustainably by meeting two objectives:
Global Commodity Procurement and Logistics {health commodity procurement, logistics, health commodity quality assurance, data visibility}
Systems-Strengthening Technical Assistance {Strategic planning, In-country logistics, capacity building, enabling environment, advocacy}
At times the USAID Mission requests GHSC-PSM to help gain media coverage for specific activities. As such, the project requires expertise and surge support for these instances of media engagement.

Qualifications:
