Publisher Unveils Maiden Edition of ‘Northeast Times’ Newspaper
This is to inform the general public that the maiden edition of “NORTHEAST TIMES”, a newspaper with special interest in the Northeast region is set to be released soon.
Adhering to the tenet of journalism as a tool for national unity and development through information, education, entertainment and orientation, the newspaper will focus on the Northeast region, which has been identified with negative happenings since the advent of Boko Haram insurgency at the expense of socioeconomic development the region has recently recorded.
The NORTH EAST TIMES was established to bridge the gap of news reportage in the region as our reporters, scattered across the states of the region, have been trained to report the unreported, the other side of the news.
We intend to provide our esteemed readers the different sides to the news, tell unique stories especially those ones overlooked by the foreign and national platforms as we intend to reach the unreached, visit hard to reach vicinities in a bid to provide the other side.
We assured readers of the paper’s commitment to best practices in journalism as the administration, correspondents and an editorial team of seasoned journalists work together to promote the progress and development of society without inclination to tribal, religious or partisan bias.
The public is hereby urged to welcome the timely initiative and support the newspaper with the necessary information and resources to achieve its objectives. The news room can be contacted on 0902 318 2999, and 0807 098 8878 for adverts.
Thank you.
