I am Feeling Much Better Now — Dangogo
…Raises Funds For Faster Recuperation
For Mallam Kabir Dangogo, Public Relations cum efficient management of relationship is the way of life, even on sick bed, the world must know that he has enjoyed tremendous support from family friends, associates and professional colleagues in his bid to overcome his health challenge.
Dangogo is an outstanding public relations practitioner with many attesting to the shrewdness he brings to bear in his task. No wonder, though he has retired, the Public Relations ethos in him remain solid.
This is why all those who intervened when he was down with stroke should be appreciated, because they provided the succour for him at his trying time without him soliciting for their assistance. An elated Dangogo stated that many of them just heard that he was down and they reached out to him.
He therefore applauded leadership and members of the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB), Mallam Garba Shehu, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Alhaji Sani Bako and Alhaji Kabir Abubakar among others who contributed significant funds that helped alleviated his pains.
Being a pious Muslim, he is always willing to go the extra mile to keep the tenet of his faith.
Dangogo can proudly say that he is feeling much better now, as he is gradually putting behind the experience that led to him spending the Eid-l-fitri (the festival of ending Ramadan fast) on the hospital bed.
Providing an insight to how it all started, he said that he went to pray at the mosque and after praying he stayed back to read the Quran and thereafter slept only to wake up to discover that one side of his body had paralyzed.
Meanwhile, Mallam Dangogo now desires to raise funds for quick recuperation in Nigeria or abroad. Commenting on why the association quickly reached out to Dangogo, who was the founding president of ACAMB, the current President, Rasheed Bolarinwa, said that the association naturally keeps in touch with its founding fathers on a consistent basis and it was why the association was there for Dangogo when he took ill.
He said that the association would continue to do so for as long as it pleases God.
“As a President, I call and speak with him almost on a weekly basis checking on him just as I’m aware other past Presidents and leaders of ACAMB have kept in touch with him. We treasure our past presidents, leaders and members and will be on top of seeing to their well being.”
