Lagos NIPR Chairman wants PR pros to do more in 2023
The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute Public Relations (NIPR) Chairman, Comfort Obot Nwankwo, has tasked PR professionals to do more in their profession in the year 2023.
She stated this in her New Year message as she welcomes members of the Lagos Chapter into the year 2023.
“Together, let’s do more in 2023. It is my prayer that this New Year will be more productive and rewarding. May the Almighty God guide our steps. In this New Year, let’s keep flying the banner of excellence in our workplace, interactions with our clients/principals and professional colleagues.
“As communication professionals, let’s be at the cutting edge of the latest trends and technology, in order to serve our stakeholders better.
“In 2023, let’s collaborate more with one another to implement different projects. No one is an island of knowledge. The more we collaborate, the more we can cross-fertilise ideas to implement bigger projects,” she said.
Regarding what to expect from Lagos NIPR in 2023, Mrs. Nwankwo said that the EXCOS will redouble efforts to keep packaging PR Clinics, training, and events that are relevant to their professional development.
“I implore you to continue supporting the Lagos Chapter of NIPR by paying the annual subscription, attending meetings, sponsoring and sharing creative ideas on how to move the Chapter forward,” she added.
