Climate Change: IPRA announces Virtual Lecture for Communication Professionals
A leading global network for Public Relations (PR) professionals, the International Public Relations Association, IPRA, has announced to host another edition of its virtual class on Climate Change Chapter on Thursday 8 September 2022 at 12.00 GMT/UCT
The digital class aims to advance trusted communication and the ethical practice of public relations among IPRA members, to enable them to play a valuable part in climate change communication in line with UN sustainable development goal 13 with the theme “Climate Change: how PR can save the world” to be moderated by Philip Sheppard
The Moderator, Philip Sheppard also an IPRA Secretary-General will be hosting other Climate change experts such as Daniel Silberhorn, Sophia Kudjordji, and Svetlana Stavreva to discuss how communications can make a positive impact, and play a responsible part in working towards achieving the UN’s sustainable development goal 13.
‘The world needs action in the face of climate change. Which role does our profession play here? What are our possibilities and best practice examples?’. it Added.
Meanwhile, IPRA is the organiser of public relations’ annual global competition, the Golden World Awards for Excellence (GWA). IPRA’s services enable PR professionals to collaborate and be recognised.
