NALVEJ Hails Kwara Govt On Resuscitation Of KWTV, Evacuation Of Beggars, Others
The National League of Veteran Journalists ( NALVEJ) in Kwara State, has hailed the commencement of 24- hour transmission by Kwara State Television Service (KWTV).
The league praised the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for reviving the television house.
The league in a unanimous resolution at its monthly meeting also praised the state government for enforcing the law that bans street begging in the state and the full implementation of the N30,000 minimum wage to all categories of workers in the state.
It, however, urged the government to extend the benefits of the minimum wage to pensioners in the state.
The league which commended the state government on the above feats, however drew its attention to the deplorable conditions of some township roads in Ilorin, the state capital and called for urgent repairs of the affected roads.
