PR Practitioners set to celebrate first-ever World Public Relations Day
Public relations practitioners around the globe are set to hold the first-ever World Public Relations Day on July 16.
According to a statement made available to our correspondent on Thursday, the global celebration which was first announced last year would take place with an array of physical events, online interactions and other activities.
The statement said the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, BlackHouse Media, Ayeni Adekunle, had in August 2020 communicated the need for an agenda towards making the world understand and utilise PR better and more proficiently.
Ayeni stated that the World PR Day presented an opportunity to clearly articulate and the role public relations played.
