NIPR: Lagos Set for Digital PR Summit to Optimize Efficiency of Professionals

Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, is set for another PR digital summit as part of its initiative in enhancing capacities and efficiency of professionals with modern-day digital techniques.
The Chairman, Lagos NIPR, Olusegun McMedal revealed that the annual Digital PR Summit will prepare the minds of PR professionals by exposing them to latest tools and strategies they can harness to connect with a wider audience.
Adding that some of the courses includes Mapping a Successful Digital PR Strategy and some relevant Case Studies on Online Crisis Communication and Management, while stressing that, the Lagos Digital PR Summit is a two-day experiential gathering of communicators focused on achieving collective intelligence.
“this summit is an effort of partnership with multinational technology companies specializing in Internet-related, social media and social networking services and leading digital communications consultancies in Sub-Saharan Africa, aimed at equipping communicators with high-level digital public relations strategies, tactics so they can do their jobs effectively and boost their social media campaign results”
“also, this Digital PR Summit is open to Generation X and Millennials managing communications for government, corporate, media and non-governmental organizations to equip and expose them to contemporary techniques and glean new insights in the fast-growing algorithmic media space for modern-day strategic communication practice” he emphasized.
The fourth Lagos Digital PR Summit, themed: “Upping your Versatility in Digital Communication”, will take place in Ikeja at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, on Wednesday 16 of October 2019.
